Beth was compassionate and caring and an extremely good listener. When talking with my mom she took the extra time to listen to her concerns. Being patient and asking questions until she could figure out what she needed. She explained things in ways everyone could understand. She helped find a pharmacy that was open that had the special eye drops after the tornado when my mom had run out. Beth listened to family concerns and would stop by extra or arrange extra visits. Beth took the time to communicate with the staff at StoryPoint. She would make sure everyone had what they needed to care for my mom. When my mom was passing she ended up being with us for most of the day. She went out to get needed medication to make sure my mom was comfortable. She explained what was going on and what to expect. She was very compassionate when explaining that my mom was only going to be with us for hours or a couple days. She ended up passing within the hour. She made sure we had what we needed before she left us after her passing. Beth was a comfort to myself and my family. She made my mom’s last days enjoyable by helping to keep her healthy throughout the hospice journey. Even though it was difficult to walk with my mom through her last months Beth helped me by being there when I needed her. I will always be grateful to her for her care not only for my mom but for me. I will actually miss our weekly visits.
