Kalamazoo Wilma died Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at her home. She was born August 10, 1921 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Martin and Lena Druif VerHage. Wilma was a member of Bethany Reformed Church the Ruth Circle and Women's Guild. She was employed at V&A Bootery for 38 years until her retirement in 1987. Surviving are special cousin, Evert VerHage and many other dear cousins, Margie Peter Candela and family, Carol Kenneth Fricke and family, Deloris Slunick and family, and Ruth Cipriono and family. Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday at Bethany Reformed Church, 1833 S. Burdick Street, with Rev. Steven J. Harthorn and Rev. Fritz Kruithoff officiating. Private interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family from 2-5 PM on Sunday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to Bethany Reformed Church or a charity of one's choice.
