Died Wednesday morning December 21, 2016. Wilma was born June 19, 1925 in Three Rivers, MI, a daughter of Carl and Jenny (Lemke) Timm. She was a Westwood area resident for 64 years. On March 11, 1945, Wilma was united in marriage to William C. Sands who preceded her in death on April 5, 2015. Wilma and Bill had many fun years traveling, golfing, playing cards and eating with friends, weekly. In later years, Wilma enjoyed being with family - playing cribbage. Surviving are 2 children, William C. (Sue) Sands III of Three Rivers and Mary (Dave) Vanderstelt of Kalamazoo; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Lucile Miller, Ruth Schweihs, Kathryn Reick and Carl Timm. Per her wishes, no visitation or services are scheduled. Burial will be at Mt. Ever Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to a charity of one's choice.
