William Frederick Kramer

William F. Kramer, Sr., 96, from Kalamazoo passed away on Friday November 15, 2019. He was born March 25, 1923 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Frederick and Maudell (Lyon) Kramer.

William was united in marriage to the former Antoinette Shaak on April 23, 1949, who preceded him in death in January of 1989. William served in both the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army from which he was honorably discharged. William graduated from Drexell University with a degree in Engineering and began his career with Ford Motor Company where he worked as an Engineer for over 47 years. After William (Bill) retired he spent his years living with his daughter Carol and her family, enjoying time with his son's and grand children.

William is survived by his children, Bill (Wife Theresa) Kramer, Jr., Scott (Wife Marleen) Kramer and Carol (Husband John) Twiehaus; grandchildren, Emily Kelly (Husband Clay), Chris Kramer, Courtney Twiehaus, Brandon Twiehaus, Trevor Hancock and Kris Hancock (Wife Kandace); and great granddaughter, Paige Hancock.

He was also preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Hunsberger.

At the family's request, cremation has taken place. No visitation or services are scheduled.
