BLANCHARD, William H.
of Kalamazoo, Michigan Bill passed away Monday afternoon, December 30, 2013 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. He was born on November 29, 1925 in Kalamazoo, the son of William and Lois Blanchard. Bill was a graduate of Kalamazoo Central High School and was employed by The Upjohn Co. for many years until his retirement. On September, 18, 1949, he was united in marriage to the former Jean Lewis. Bill was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Jean Blanchard, nephew, David Tooker and many loving cousins. Preceding him in death were his parents, three brothers and two sisters. A private family service was held at Langeland Family Funeral Homes. Entombment was in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to American Diabetes Association.
