Passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at the age of 57. Wayne was born in Hamilton, OH on October 16, 1959. He served his country in the United States Navy. He was employed as an electrician for Pfizer Corporation. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and loved to spend time with his family. He was a First Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and trained at Walkers Tae Kwon Do in Portage, where he taught Cardio Kick Boxing. He also enjoyed bike riding and fishing. Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Debra (Pace) Kuntzman; three children, Christina (Jack) DeRyke, Teresa (Jason) Schrock and Nicholas Kuntzman; four grandchildren, Allen & Jessica and Leah & Isabella; his father, Lonnie (Sharron) Kuntzman and mother, Barbara Sauer; two brothers, Steve (Howard Tejchma) Kuntzman and Roy Pace Jr.; three sisters, Melanie (James) Bryer, Linda Pace and MaryLynn Pace; two step-brothers, Jim Sauer and Ed Sauer; and one step-sister, Kathy Paton. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Richard Sauer; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Roy and Norma Pace. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at First Congregational Church, 345 W. Michigan Ave., Kalamazoo, MI 49007. The committal service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2017 at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, where full military honors will be rendered.
