Timothy Lee Clear

Timothy Lee Clear, 49, of Portage MI, passed away on Easter Sunday April 17, 2022, with his family by his side. Timothy was born on July 5, 1972, in Kalamazoo, MI, son of the late LouAnn Cullum and William Clear.

Tim was a devoted husband to his wife Sherry whom he married March 29, 2006, in Las Vegas, the city that never sleeps just like him. He was the loving father to his 3 children Camron, Carlee, and Stephanie, and caring papa to his grandchildren Levi and Karson. His family meant the world to him along with his countless friends. If you had the pleasure of knowing him, you know there wasn't a thing he wouldn't do to try and help anyone.

Hardworking doesn't even begin to describe Tim. He started out doing parking lot striping, began detailing cars, then doing power washing which he boasted there wasn't a person around who could clean a truck like him. But his heart belonged to his love of excavating where he worked for Bailey Excavating, Cripps Fontaine, and Hoffman Bro's where he ate a lot of dirt.

He called himself the grill master and shouted it loudly for the neighborhood to hear whenever he would make his next great feast. He loved spending time with his family, hunting and fishing especially with his late grandpa Jako and jamming out to rock n roll. He was a patriot, loved his country, everyone in it and surely wasn't bashful to let you know his stance with politics.

Tim is survived by his wife Sherry Clear; Children: Camron, Carlee, and Stephanie; Grandchildren: Levi and Karson; Sisters: Tammy (Bill) McClure, Krystil, Cori, and Amanda.

Services will be conducted at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 3926 S. 9th St, Kalamazoo MI 49009. Visitation will be held Saturday April 30, 2022, from 2-4pm and 6-8 pm and on Sunday from 12:00-1:00 pm. Funeral will be held Sunday May 1, 2022, at 1:00 pm.
