Passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the age of 67. She was born January 21, 1949 in Kalamazoo to Wendell and Anna (Catolica) Mihalek, Sr. Sharon is survived by her children, Rodger Blackport, Dawna Kline, Michelle Royle, Alanah Royle and Geano Royle; several grand and great-grandchildren; father, Wendell Mihalek; siblings, Wendell Mihalek, Jr., John Mihalek, Frank Mihalek and Victor Mihalek; several nieces and nephews; and her former husband, Mike Royle. Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Mihalek. The family will greet friends on Friday from 1 - 2:00 pm at New Apolostic Church of Portage, 3600 W. Milhem Ave., where a funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm. Private burial service will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Mattawan. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Hwy. Memorials in Sharon's name may be directed to Hospice Care of SW Michigan.
