Sharon Knauss, 70, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019. She was born July 10, 1948 in
Millinocket, Maine to Warren and Dorothy (Tozler) Tibbitts. Sharon was united in
marriage to Edward "Ed" Knauss on June 24, 1984, who survives. She was a member of
the Moose Lodge. Sharon was a beautician for 28 years. She also enjoyed going up north
to their property and being around friends. But first and foremost, she loved her
grandchildren, going to their sporting events and other school functions. Sharon is
survived by her husband, Ed; children, Troy (Jen) Brown and Adam Gunderson; father,
Warren; several grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Sharmon Tibbitts; step-
siblings, Steve Schuette and Debbie Hall; and many nieces and nephews. She was
preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Tibbitts; step-father, Bob Schuette; daughter,
Michelle Owen; and sister, Cheryl Lampson. A memorial gathering will take place
Saturday, May 25th from 12-2:00pm at Burger Town Grille & Upper Deck Sports Bar,
9136 Shaver Rd, Portage, MI 49024. Memorial donations may be directed to Great
