of Portage Died April 27, 2010 at Borgess Hospital. She was born May 13, 1925 in Bellevue, Ohio to the late William D. and Clara Bell Fadley Murphy. Ruth was united in marriage on February 18, 1950 to Paul W. Clear, who preceded her in death in September of 2006. Surviving Ruth are her grandchildren, Timothy Sherry Clear and Tammy Cozart; step-grandchildren, Cora, Krystil, Ronald and Amanda; great grandchildren, Stephanie, Carlee, Camron, Chelsea, Bethany, Erin, Ashton and Donald; and several nieces and nephews. Also preceding Ruth in death were; her children, William L. and Ronald L Clear; 4 brothers, Wilbert and Earl Murphy and 2 infant brothers. No visitation is scheduled. Graveside services will be held at Marcellus Township Cemetery, Friday, May 7th at 2:00 o'clock. Arrangements are by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Memorials may be directed to the Community Baptist Church of Vicksburg or Hospice Care of SW Michigan. Please see www.langelands.com for online obituary, register book and condolences.
