Russell passed away May 23, 2021 in Kalamazoo, MI. He was born July 16, 1922 in Kendall, MI to Royal and Hazel (Sweet) Keller and he was a lifelong area resident. On April 29, 1950 he was united in marriage to June Pearl (Schultz) Keller. They lived and worked on their potato and dairy farm near Kendall their entire life. They had two children, Russell "Rusty" Keller, Jr. and Patricia Keller; 3 grandchildren, Jessica and Ashley Harms, Scott Keller; five great-grandchildren, Annalise, Nolan, Cecily, Ryan and Millena; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years June Pearl Keller; his parents and two brothers Bernard and Veryl.

In 1970, Russell and Pearl, brother and his wife built and owned Royal Estates Mobile Home Community on Ravine Road. Russell was a master hunter and fisherman who also enjoyed bowling. Private family services will be held at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Burial & Cremation Services, 3926 South 9th Street. A private graveside will follow in Kendall Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Kidney Foundation or Hospice Care of South West Michigan.
