Roberta R. (Gephart) Rogers

Roberta Roth (Gephart) Rogers, age 90, formerly of Venice, FL, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at Park Village Pines in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Roberta & Rudean (her twin) were born on December 22,1930 in Charlotte, Michigan to Rudolph & Veldean Roth.

After earning a bachelor's degree in education from Western Michigan University, Roberta married Wilfred Gephart in June of 1953. They resided in Bay City, MI owning and operating Gephart Funeral Home for many years. She is survived by her sons William (Mary) Gephart of Kalamazoo, MI & John Gephart (Mary Hale) of Corning, NY; her grandsons, Jeremy Gephart & Ryan Gephart (Laura Hunter) of Kalamazoo, MI; her sisters Virginia Rayburn of Eligin, IL; Rudean (Bob) Fairman of Grand Rapids, MI and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Wilfred Gephart & Charles Rogers, M.D. and her sister Barbara (Don) Holcomb.

A private family memorial gathering will be held in Bay City later this summer. The family would like to thank the loving staff at Park Village Pines and the Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan team for their compassionate care.
