Kalamazoo Went home to be with the Lord, Monday evening January 12, 2015. Bob was born May 6, 1941 in Kalamazoo the son of Robert Sr. and Louise Clements Hartman. He was a lifelong resident in the Kalamazoo area and was the owner and operator of Stage Lighting and Sound. Bob thoroughly enjoyed his work and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of Centerpoint Church and in his spare time enjoyed boating, tennis and golf. On June 25, 1966 he was united in marriage to his loving wife of 48 years, the former Donna DeVries, who survives. Also surviving are his children, Todd Sarah Hartman, Pam Steve Roberts; and 3 grandchildren, Chase, Alyson, and Taylor Roberts. A memorial service to celebrate Bob's life will be held at 1:00pm Friday, January 16 at Centerpoint Church, 2345 N. 10th Street with Rev. Dr. Jeff Porte officiating. Friends may meet the family Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street. Private interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials in Bob's name may be directed to the Make A Wish Foundation.
