PLUM, Mr. Richard J. "Dick"
of Kalamazoo, Michigan Passed Tuesday morning January 29, 2013. Dick was born October 3, 1936 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of Cecil and Hazel Lindou Plum. He had been a lifelong Kalamazoo and Bloomingdale resident. He graduated from Bloomindale High School in 1954 and attended Western Michigan University. He was employed with Bronson Hospital, primarily in the Pharmacy for 36 years before retiring. Those who knew Dick know that he enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles; he passed on National Puzzle Day. Dick was preceded in death by his parents; and his step mother, Catheryn Plum. He is survived by a sister, Barbara Fererro of Louisiana, several nieces and nephews ; devoted friend, Mary Drainer and close friends Bruce Patrick Dave Short, Ken Huckendubler, Nancy Lubovich, and Mark Paulson. He was very appreciative of the support he received from the many who have helped him over the years. Burial will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation.
