Formerly of Mattawan Richard passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the age of 92. He was born November 17, 1922 in Mishawaka, IN to the late Howard and Clara Keiser Lamb. Richard was united in marriage to Mary Lynn on December 27, 1956. She preceded him in death on June 27, 2005. He served in the U.S. Navy from December of 1940 until honorably discharged in December of 1946. Richard is survived by children, Diane Kenneth Irons, Kay Montgomery and David Roberta Lamb, 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister, June Jim Smith; and many nieces and nephews. Richard was also preceded by 6 brothers and 5 sisters. A graveside service will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery, Mattawan on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 1:00pm. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or to the American Cancer Society.
