Rhonda K. (LaBurn) Harlow

Rhonda K. Harlow, age 74 of Portage, died on December 22, 2022. She was born on December 9, 1948, in Detroit, the daughter of William and Hilda (Miller) LaBurn. Rhonda was a 1967 graduate of Redford High School. On June 1, 1968, she married her lifelong love, Richard “Rich” Harlow, and they share 54 wonderful years together. She had dreamed of being a mother as a child and found her life’s purpose with the births of her children. Rhonda volunteered throughout their education at Kalamazoo Christian Schools. She was loving and supportive.

Her family includes her husband, Rich Harlow; her children: Rick (Elaine) Harlow, Dana (Joel) Burgess, and Brian Harlow; her grandchildren: Olivia Harlow, Daniel Harlow, Marlee Burgess, Kyra Burgess, Megan Burgess, and Mary Kate Burgess; her sister, Diane (Frank) Stuckey; her brother, Bill (Sue) LaBurn; her close cousin, Ginger (Chuck) Spaniolo; and several nieces and nephews and extended family.

Friends may visit with her family on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at a funeral service at 4:00 PM, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Burial & Cremation Services, 3926 S. 9th Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49009.
