JAGER, Renetta M.
of Kalamazoo Passed away January 14, 2010 at Alamo Nursing Home. She was born August 18, 1922 in Kalamazoo, to the late Hemmo and Cora DeVries Mejeur. Renetta was a lifelong member of Second Christian Reformed Church where she was also active with both the Seniors Club and the Tie that Binds Group. Surviving Renetta are; her son, Bradley D. Lynne Jager; grandchildren, Darcie Kyle Shannon and Kevin Heather Shannon; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Anne DeVries,; and brother, Garrett Irene Mejeur; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Also preceding Renetta in death were; a daughter, Carol Jager in 1997; sisters, Ruth Hank Kuiper and Emma Joseph Brinks; brother-in-law, William DeVries. Family will greet friends on Sunday from 3-6:00 o'clock at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Services will take place Monday, 11:00 o'clock at Second Christian Reformed Church, 3015 Nichols Rd., 49004 Kalamazoo, MI, Rev.Dr. Warren E. Lammers, officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Ever-Rest North, following a luncheon at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Second Christian Reformed Church, building fund.
