Phyllis Ann (Hanna) Morris

Phyllis Ann Morris passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021, at her home. She was born July 25, 1938, in Kalamazoo, MI a daughter of the late Carl and Jeanette (Boven) Hanna and had been a lifelong area resident. Phyllis worked as a nurse's assistant for many years in area hospitals and nursing homes. In her free time, she loved to crochet afghans for her entire family. On December 31, 1965, Phyllis married Ray Morris, Jr. who preceded her in death on January 6, 1990. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Evans; a sister, Janet Hanna: and her companion of many years, Henry Miller. Phyllis is survived by her children, Antonio Desimone, Carl Desimone, Tina Tipken, and Roxanne Morris; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; brothers, Harvey (Pat) Hanna, and Henry (Sue) Hanna; and several nieces and nephews.
