Patricia passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018 in Kalamazoo, MI. She was born on June 13, 1949, in Kalamazoo, MI a daughter of Carl L. and Gladys E. (Adkins) Thomas and had been a lifelong area resident. A wife and mother of seven children, she was spiritual and enjoyed her Native American culture. She would travel to different Native American celebrations around the state with her husband and children. Patricia also enjoyed her time spent with the grandchildren and spending time at different parks with them. She was one of the kindest and warmest person to be around. She retired from Meijer's and enjoyed her time off to be with family over the years. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Shaun Seaman and a son-in-law, Enrique Salinas. On August 26, 1967, Patricia married Donald Seaman who survives. Also surviving are 6 children, Donald (Nikki) Seaman, Jr. of Ft. Wayne, IN, Fredrick (Jeannie) Seaman of Calgary, Alberta, David (Amanda) Seaman of Gull Lake, Micah Seaman of Kalamazoo, Jody (Carrie) Seaman of Merrill, MI and Sarah Salinas of Kalamazoo; 18 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 5 siblings, William Frazier, Beverly Thomas, Carla Thomas, Carl Thomas, Jr. and Joseph Thomas; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and private inurnment services will be held in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. A memorial service is being planned and will be announced later.
