Pat was born November 20, 1952, in Alpena, Michigan, the daughter of the late Richard and Jean Freese Lindquist and went home to be with her Lord on July 13, 2010. She has been a longtime Portage area resident, who for the past 15 years has been employed in medical equipment sales, first with White & White and the past 7 years with Care Link Medical Equipment. Pat was an active member of Southridge Reformed Church and was involved in many activities throughout the years, including the memorial garden committee and her special prayer group. On January 15, 2000, she was united in marriage to Ronald Meyer, who survives her. Also surviving are her two sons, Bryan Burcham of Kalamazoo, Stephen Burcham and girlfriend Jessica Green both of Portage; her step-daughter, Annette Dan Shumaker of Oxford; two step-grandchildren, Olivia and Mitchell Shumaker; her brother, John Sue Lindquist; sisters-in-law, Barbara Burcham and Marsha Marc Johann; nieces and nephews. Pat also leaves behind her treasured pets Greta and Daisey. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 16th, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street. A service to celebrate Pat's life will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday at Southridge Reformed Church, 6726 Texas Drive, with Pastor Becky Ringler officiating. Family will greet guests at 10:00 AM at the church before the funeral service. According to Pat's wishes, cremation has already taken place. In a private ceremony her ashes will be interred in a family plot in Alpena. Memorials in Pat's memory may be directed to Southridge Reformed Church Memorial Garden Fund.
