Kalamazoo, MI Loving wife, cherished daughter and sister, Natalie passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2009. She was born in Battle Creek, the daughter of Brian and Joan Cyphert Stewart and had lived in the Kalamazoo area for many years. She graduated from Battle Creek Lakeview High School in 1997 and from Everest Business School in May, 2008 with a Medical Assistant's Degree. Shortly after her graduation, her health began to fail. She bravely fought her illness, and did not bow down to it. Natalie was a very devoted Christian and was baptized in January of 2008 as a member of Threads Church of Kalamazoo. Natalie had a special love for animals of all descriptions, especially her dogs. She was very artistic in photography and painting and was an avid music lover. She was a joy to be with. Natalie is survived by her loving husband, Darren; her mother Joan Cyphert George and step-father, Bob George; her brother, Scott Alissa Stewart; and a special uncle, Gary Stewart. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM in the Threads Church, 3600 W. Milham Rd. with Pastor Lee Rabe officiating. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the ASPCA of Kalamazoo or Milwood Community Development and Outreach, C/O Threads Church.
