Mary's career of thirty-six years was as the Assistant Purchasing Agent for the Humphrey Products Company. Mary and Amos loved to travel to many countries including China, Russia, Africa, and many European and South American countries. Their Saddle Lake house near South Haven provided enjoyment to entertain family and friends with pontoon rides and great food, for Mary was an excellent cook! Besides her culinary skills, Mary was a fine seamstress and stitchery talent, making many gift items for all. She enjoyed dining out and attending musical concerts, Broadway shows, and Civic Theater plays.

Mary was also preceded in death by her brother, Carleton Pease, and nephew, David Pease. Surviving are her nieces, Rhenda Pease, Judy Cartwright, and Sandra Graciano; nephews, Michael (Suzanne) Ameroso of Buffalo, New York; great-nephews, Rus Ross and Francisco Graciano; great-nieces Cora Graciano-Ramos and Maricela Furr, all of San Antonio, Texas, and Kemberlee (Matthew) Mahaffey of St. Louis, Missouri; and great-great-nephews, Luke and Colin Mahaffey of St. Louis, Missouri.
