Mary Ann (Koetje) Sipsma

Passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020 in Chattanooga, TN. Mary was born January 22, 1953 in Kalamazoo, MI the daughter of William and Delores (Doorn) Koetje. Mary loved to bake and cook. She was a cosmetologist for 40 years and owned her own catering business. Her favorite place was being in the kitchen with family and friends. She deeply loved her husband, her children and adored her grandchildren. She loved hosting dinners and parties (the more the merrier!), serving senior citizen groups, and volunteering at church.
On October 6, 1972 she was united in marriage to her loving husband, Keith Sipsma, who survives. Also surviving are her children, James (Heather) Sipsma, Sarah (Steve) Bauserman; brother, Ronald (Dorothy) Koetje; in laws, Norm (Marcia) Sipsma; grandchildren Natalie, Christopher and Emily Sipsma; several nieces and a nephew. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hearth Hospice at 513 Georgia Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37403.
