DEBOER, Marva M.
of Kalamazoo Passed away Thursday morning, October 6, 2011. Marva was born April 28, 1933 in Edgerton, MN the daughter of William and Jessie Schelhaas Huisken. Marva was a member of Second Christian Reformed Church and worked for many years at Kmart in customer service. She also enjoyed doing volunteer work with Westland Meadows, and her church. Marva was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother and sister. Surviving are her children, Terry Sue DeBoer, Rhonda Terry Collins, Karen Charles Barnes; 4 grandchildren, Dan and Scott Collins, Alison Kenny Stinson, and Ashley DeBoer; 6 brothers and sisters; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11:00 o'clock Monday at the Second Christian Reformed Church, 3015 Nichols Rd. Friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street. Interment will be in Grand Prairie Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Park Village Pines or Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
