Margie Ann (Merrill) Stoughton

Passed away Monday evening, July 24, 2023. Margie was born September 23, 1931 in Blanchard, MI the daughter of Percy and Cecelia Merrill. Margie took great joy in her knitting, gardening, as well as traveling.

Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Foster in 1976; and brother and sister, Robert Merrill and Mary Lou Christian. On February 24, 1981 she was united in marriage to Gerald Stoughton who survives. Also surviving are her son, Mark Foster; daughter, Tina; 4 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister Beverly Olson; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may meet the family from 5:00-7:00pm Monday, July 31 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, 411 E. Centre Ave, Portage, MI 49002 where funeral services will be held at 4:00pm Tuesday, August 1. Interment will be at 12:00pm Wednesday, August 2 in Crestwood Memorial Gardens at 2020 E.
