ZONDERVAN, Mrs. Marcia B.
of Kalamazoo, Michigan Passed away Friday evening, June 6, 2014 in Kalamazoo. Marcia was born September 23, 1928 in Wyoming, MI, the daughter of the late Peter and Alice Zeeff, and had been a resident of the Kalamazoo area for 58 years. She was a graduate of Godwin Heights High School and loved music. She worked for Michigan Bell as a switch board operator. She loved children and did home day care for 12 years. She also loved to sing and play the piano for church and weddings. On April 20, 1951, she married Louis Zondervan, who preceded her in death on October 10, 2004. She is survived by her children, Kevin Muriel Zondervan of Alexandria, VA, Keith Barbara Zondervan of Lakewood, CA, Rick Zondervan of Kalamazoo, Scott Dawn Zondervan of Kalamazoo, Kimberly Kevin Sandin of Muskegon, Todd Dawnie Zondervan of Caledonia; 15 grandchildren, Nicole, Derek, Katie, Daniel, Kara, Luke, Jana, Lindsay, Kelsey, Austin, Amber, Ashley, Connor, Cameron and Carly; and one great-grandchild, Kinsley; sisters and brother, Arleen Bob Saum of Fremont, Richard Louise Zeeff of Bradenton, FL, and Nancy Larry Kuipers of Grand Rapids; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, in the Second Christian Reformed Church, 3015 Nichols Road, with Rev. Dr. Warren Lammers, officiating. The family will receive friends at the Langeland Family Funeral Home, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St. on Tuesday from 6-8 PM and at the church on Wednesday, beginning at 10:00 AM until service time. Private interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest North Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Right to Life of Kalamazoo, Bethany Christian Services or Park Village Pines.
