Lois Arlene (Stenzel) Schipper

Lois A. Schipper, age 86, died at the Laurels of Galesburg on July 10, 2022. She was born August 13, 1935, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the daughter of Johnny and Laura Stenzel. Lois married her high school sweetheart, Dick, who along with her and their daughter, Teresa Hudson, have preceded her in death.

Lois greatly loved and cherished her family. She enjoyed gardening, mushroom hunting, camping, and fishing with family and friends. Lois and Dick traveled to all the lower 48 states. Her hobbies were knitting, crocheting, and playing bridge.

Lois and Dick retired in 1989 to Anna Maria Island, Florida, where they stayed until 2000 when they moved back to Kalamazoo to be closer to family.

Lois is survived by her son Rick and his wife, Linda, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A private interment has taken place.
