HOPPE, Mrs. Lois M.
of Kalamazoo, Michigan Passed away at Bronson Methodist Hospital on February 17, 2013. Mrs. Hoppe was born April 4, 1928 in the village of Decatur. She married John Hoppe on September 18, 1946 in Kalamazoo. She worked at the Upjohn Company, WKLZ Radio and several medical offices in Kalamazoo. She was involved with the Paw Paw Elks Club and the Paw Paw Eagles. Survivors include her husband John, sister Elaine Chuck Tandy, daughter Cindy Tom Kelly, son Kim Susan Hoppe, granddaughter Michelle Kelly and fiancé Bob Neville, grandson Scott Kelly and fiancée Danielle Sulzer, great granddaughter Samantha Kelly and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Dick and Ida Postma Klinkers and brother Ward Klinkers. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, neighbors at their "Hoppe Hour", their cat Baby, and fishing on Eagle Lake with John, Elaine and Marion. Cremation has already taken place. There will be no visitation. Private burial will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all of her family.
