of Kalamazoo, Michigan Linda T. Turney Templeton passed away August 15, 2013 at her home with her family at her bedside. She was born June 12, 1936, in LaGrange, Illinois, the daughter of the late Russell and Frances Trimble Turney. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and homemaker, who also worked in the Portage Public Schools system and for both Redwood and Ross and C.G. and Company. Linda was also a member for several years of Service Club of Kalamazoo. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William T. Templeton, whom she married on December 22, 1956. Linda is survived by a son, William; a daughter, Martha Steve McMurry; four grandchildren: Emily and Mindy Dunn and Logan and Haley Templeton; two step-grandchildren, Graham and Sheila McMurry; two step-great-grandsons, Jaylen and Riley Jno-Pierre and sister, Martha Kepler. Private family services will be held and there will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
