They soon had their third child, Stephen while she continued with her career. During her time at Visitor's, a fellow therapist, Mary Purrit, convinced her to get her Masters. She was soon accepted to Notre Dame University. While raising a family and studying for her Masters Degree, Linda accepted a position at Borgess Hospital as an OT. Upon completion of her Masters, she was later promoted to Director of Rehab at Borgess, where she served as Director for 11 years.

Linda was very family oriented. She especially cherished being a grandmother and spending time at Duck Lake. Her hobbies included camping, scrapbooking, quilting, cooking, hosting Thanksgiving, refinishing furniture, music and traveling. Linda was noted by many for her outstanding cooking ability. She was a very caring mother, devoted wife and a fun grandmother. Her advice to her grandchildren is to stay in school and take your parents advice.
