Leon Jay Mathews

Leon Mathews, 83, a beloved member of the New Apostolic Church, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018. He was born March 30, 1935 in Bangor, MI to the late Leo and Nettie (King) Mathews. Leon was united in marriage to Dorothy Mathews, who preceded him in death. He was later united in marriage to the former Louise "Lou" Taylor on June 19, 1993, who survives. Leon is survived by his beloved wife, children and grandchildren. A memorial service will take place at New Apostolic Church, 3600 W. Milham Ave., Portage, MI 49024 on Saturday, December 22nd, 11:00am with refreshments to follow.
