Kurt Lee Schaeberle, age 53, passed away on October 10, 2020 at his residence in Portage, MI. Kurt was born June 26, 1967 in Kalamazoo, MI, the son of F.W. and D. Diane (Crowell) Schaeberle. He was a longtime area resident, graduate of Portage Northern High School and received his Bachelor's Degree from Western Michigan University.

Kurt was employed as an internal auditor and had worked for several different companies throughout the years. For many years he enjoyed participating in Renaissance Fairs and most recently his favorite pastime was online gaming.

Surviving are his mother D. Diane Schaeberle; his brother and sister-in-law Scott and Gina Schaeberle. Kurt was preceded in death by his father F.W. Schaeberle.

In accordance with Kurt's wishes, cremation has taken place. Due to Covid concerns, his family will arrange for a memorial gathering to be held at a later date to be announced.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Kurt's memory may be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
