Kristin Ann Markoff

Kristin Markoff, age 41 of Kalamazoo, died peacefully at Rose Arbor Hospice on February 6, 2021. She was born April 27, 1979, in Rochester, Michigan, the daughter of Timothy and Linda (Griffin) Markoff. Kristin graduated from Stevenson High School in 1997. She went on to graduate from Western Michigan University with her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. After working many years with InterAct of Michigan, Kristin became one of the first social workers for the new WHI program with Integrated Services of Kalamazoo. Kristin loved the work she did with people but above all she cherished her family. She will forever be remembered by her quick wit and her ability to bring laughter to everyone around her. Kristin embraced life and through her humor made every moment a good time. Her family includes her partner Kelly Scott and Kelly's children: Alex, Drake, and Tatum; her father Timothy (Karen) Markoff; her brother Peter (Katie) Markoff; her niece and nephews: Lucas, Kinsley, and Paxton; and many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her mom Linda. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date to celebrate Kristin's life.
