Passed away Saturday morning, April 23, 2016 at his home. Ken was born April 15, 1953 in Ypsilanti, MI the son of Glenn and Marcella (Mitchell) Bradner. He was a member of 12th Street Baptist Church and was employed with Ralph Moyle Inc. as a truck driver. Ken enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, camping, walking the Mackinac Bridge on Labor Day, and collecting firetrucks. On March 28, 1981 he was united in marriage to his loving wife of 35 years, the former Ruth Borton, who survives. Also surviving are his children, Rachel Carney, Zachary (Amber) Bradner; 7 grandchildren, Aurora, Jude, Kairi, Lennon, Kalani, Tristan, and Amberlin; brothers and sisters, Bill (Gail) Bradner, Becky (Joe) Knurth, David (Janet) Bradner, Mary Bradner, Tim Bradner, Bobby Bradner, Shannon Bradner; and many nieces and nephews. Ken was preceded in death by a brother Michael and his parents. A service to celebrate Ken's life will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, April 27 at 12th Street Baptist Church, 3911 South 12th Street, with Pastor Thad Stout officiating. Friends may meet the family from 12-1:00 Wednesday at the church prior to the service. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Mattawan. Memorials may be directed to the family.
