Passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the age of 84. He was born January 5, 1932 in Kalamazoo to the late Max and Ethel (Bartlett) McKee. He was united in marriage for 50 loving years, to Geraldine "Gerry" Otto on October 22, 1965. Gerry survives. Keith served in the U.S. Army from August of 1952 until honorably discharged in July of 1954. Keith was owner of McKee Transportation for 24 years, a family business, after years of being an OTR truck driver. He was a lifetime member of the Masonic Order, Scottish Rite and Saladin Temple Shrine. He was also a classic car enthusiast. Keith is survived by his wife, Gerry McKee; children, Michael (Susanne) McKee, Susan (George) Brannum and Alan (Sabine) Haley; 7 grandchildren; siblings, Maxine Burhans, Leonard (Karen Dougherty) McKee and Carmen (Darold) Gustafson; son-in-law, David White; sister-in-law, Marge McKee; and several nieces and nephews. Keith is preceded in death by a daughter, Debra White; and brother, John McKee. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, March 9th from 10-11am at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., where a memorial service will be held at 11:00am.
