Karen Renee (Struble) Britz

Karen Renee Britz passed away unexpectedly Sunday May 30, 2021. She was born April 22, 1975, in Mount Pleasant, MI a daughter of Ronald and Marilyn (Jeffrey) Struble.

If you were blessed to have met Karen in this life then you already know she was one of the most caring and thoughtful people you could ever meet. She always put the needs of those lucky enough to be around her before her own, almost to a fault. Karen led by example in the best possible way, by just being who she was. The footprint she leaves behind in our hearts will be impossible to fill.

Karen loved spending her time finding new places to explore, camping, meeting new people, walking in the woods….only if it was in a loop. No need to see the same scenery twice. Sitting by the fire with friends and loved ones talking endlessly, or simply just enjoying each other's company watching the fire. She also enjoyed a cold winter day just sitting with a hot cup of coffee wrapped up in a blanket watching the snowfall.

Karen was so many things to those that were lucky enough to know her loving heart and soul. She will be forever missed.

Karen is survived by her son, Gavin Britz; parents; sister, Kimberly (William) Holmes; and fiancé, Robert Melvin. A memorial gathering will be held from 2-4pm on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009.
