Justin Russell Mohney, age 30, passed away on September 20, 2018 at his residence in Portage, Michigan. Justin was born August 22, 1988 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the son of Jeffrey and Joanne (Link) Mohney.

Justin has touched the lives of everyone he has come into contact with: family, friends, caregivers, and the students/staff at Woods Edge and Center for Disability Services.
Justin's purpose in life was to show others the true meaning of unconditional love, patience, compassion, and to be thankful for the little things in life.

Surviving are his parents Jeffrey and Joanne (Link) Mohney; two sisters Jenna (Tony) Pieh and Jordan (Adam) Pyett; nieces Isla and Chloe Pieh; grandparents Russell and Cleora Mohney, Jeannette Link; many special aunts, uncles, cousins, caregivers and friends.

As a Celebration of Justin's Life, a Memorial Gathering and Luncheon will be held from 1:00 to 4:00PM on Sunday, September 23rd at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street. Memorial donations in Justin's memory may be directed to the Mohney Foundation, a private non-profit helping people with disabilities find affordable housing (P.O. Box 278, Sturgis, MI, 49091).
