MANN, Mr. John W.
Kalamazoo, MI Died Tuesday afternoon April 28, 2015 at his residence. John was born March 27, 1946 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania a son of Lester and Helen Karl Mann. During the Vietnam War, he served with the U.S. Marines. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of his life and was employed with AT&T for 33 years, retiring in 1999. John was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sharon A. Mann on August 23, 1998; an infant daughter, Susan; and a brother, Thomas Mann in 2014. He is survived by 2 children, Cheryl Kevin Sieling Mann and Scott Mann all of Kalamazoo; 4 grandchildren, Mikkel, Nikayla, Cody and Brandon; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 1 o'clock Wednesday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th St. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at a the chapel. Private burial will take place at a later date. Memorials may be directed to Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes.
