BURGER, John
Of Three Rivers John passed away Monday morning, May 7, 2012 at his home. He was born May 20, 1956 in Kalamazoo, son of the late Charlie Jr. and Agnes Falbe Burger. John was a veteran of the United States Army serving 3 years from 1975-78, and then served over 10 years in the National Guard. Surviving are his two sons, Merle "Mike" Sharon Yoder Burger of Portage and Matthew Burger of Leonidas, MI; one grandson, Preston Burger; one sister, Mary Burger of Three Rivers; four brothers, Charlie Burger III of North Stonington, CT, Edward Burger of Colon, Robert Dianna Burger of Jackson, and Ron Jackson of Three Rivers; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for John will be at 12:30 PM on Thursday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Avenue. Interment with military honors will follow in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 5-8 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to West Michigan Cancer Center.
