John Michael Beck

John Michael Beck, age 61, of Kalamazoo passed away April 10, 2023. He was born July 21, 1961 in Flora, Illinois to the late Jack Hayward and Freda Ilene (Goff) Beck.

John’s joy in life came from being Papa to his family. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching sports.

John was preceded in death by his parents; son, Christopher Davis; daughter, Riva Beck; twin grandsons, Jackson and Joenah; and siblings, Rose (Robert) Anderson, Jack (Gaylen) Beck, Jerry (Rita) Beck, Marilyn Beck, Joseph Beck, and Jeffery Beck.

He is survived by his loving family, including his wife, Beverly Beck; children, Melissa (Jeremy) Hagen, Amanda (Franklin) Campbell, Jonni Beck, David Beck, and Brian (Amber Butler) Pullam; grandchildren, Maygen, Kristen, Ethan, Christopher, Riva, Jaidyn, Cailob, Saivanna, Cooper, Jamison, Skylynn, Amira, Kasidy, Lexi, Cody, Clayton, Austin, Triston, Kaimen, Daisean, and Miguel; great-grandchildren, Kaisyn, Ah’Brina, Alivia, Hexlei, and Christopher; siblings, Jim Beck, Becky (Billy Slane), LeLa (Ivan) Hickey, Olive (Gary) Talbert, Freda (Danny) Lowe, Julius Beck, Helen (Jeff) Chapman, Christina Beck, and April Beck; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 6-8:00pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 622 S Burdick St, Kalamazoo, MI 49007.
