Springfield, MI Jeleesa Hutton went to sleep Sunday, October 6, 2013 and woke up in the arms of our Lord. Jeleesa, the beloved daughter of Bruce and Paula Bynum Thompson was born July 24, 1988 in Kalamazoo Michigan. Jeleesa was a 2006 graduate of Gull Lake High School where she participated in many activities including band and track where she excelled in shot put. She was attending Kalamazoo Valley Community College pursuing her degree in Respiratory Therapy. Jeleesa worked at PNC Bank for 4 years as a Senior Associate. While there she received many accolades and awards including a top Customer Internal Quality rating. She was also recognized with top honors by her supervisors for overall quality performance. Jeleesa enjoyed all kinds of music, spending time with her friends and family, shopping and most of all being a dedicated and attentive mother to her only daughter Brooklyn, who survives. She is also survived by her parents, a special friend Stephan Arnold, a special cousin Briana Bell, her maternal grandmother Marian Bynum of Bangor, Michigan, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and a very large, supportive group of extended family and friends. She was proceeded in death by her maternal grandfather, Loren Robert Bob Bynum. Family will greet friends on Friday, October 11th from 5-7 pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St. Kalamazoo, MI. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, 2 pm, Bishop Ronald C. Henton officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made on behalf of Brooklyn towards a scholarship fund.
