Passed away peacefully on March 17, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was an active member of her community working at UpJohn for over 30 years before retiring. After retirement you may have found her at WMU hockey games, in her garden, or spending time with her family. She was proceeded in death by her parents Victor and Maxine Vanderberg and her sister Carol DeVries. She was survived by her loving husband Kenneth Horton; daughter Terri Croft; step-son Kenneth (Annette) Horton; siblings: Vicki (Bill) Hightower, Ward (Mary) Vanderberg, Linda Vanderberg, Tom Vanderberg, and Terry (Pam) Vanderberg; and grandchildren: Kelsey Gonzales, Amanda Croft, Tyler (Erin) Horton, Kaitlyn Horton, Riley Horton, and Kobey Horton. She will be missed dearly by her family. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am Saturday, March 23rd, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00am.
