Kalamazoo Janeen died Saturday, November 19, 2011, in Kalamazoo, MI. She was born November 7, 1966, in Elkhart, IN, a daughter of Juan and Yolanda Gonzales Garcia and had lived in Kalamazoo since 2007. Janeen worked hard, earned a master?s degree and went on to work as a software engineer for broadcast television networks. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Enrique and Adelina Gonzalez. Janeen is survived by her: mother, Yolanda Gonzales of Portage; father, Juan & Cyndi Garcia of Kalamazoo; two sisters, Denise Ann Garcia of Cincinnati, OH and Annalisa & Jeff Cutshaw of Kalamazoo; a brother, John Garcia of Portage; nephew, Zachary Cutshaw; niece, Ashley Cutshaw; aunts and uncles, Dee & Bob Homan, Lela & Fred Garzia, Rachele & Leonard Dolshanko, Lupe & Helda Gonzales and Jose & Enrique Gonzales; and many cousins and friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 11:00 Saturday morning, December 3, 2011, in the State Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1112 N. Drake Rd, with Bishop James Vander Roest, officiating.
