Comstock, MI Passed away on Friday, May 30, 2014 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. Age 73. Gloria was born in Kalamazoo on September 16, 1940, the daughter of the late George and Irene Fleckenstein Leversee. She worked for the Shakespeare Company. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and doing jigsaw puzzles. She is survived by one sister and one brother, Betty Srackangast of Portage and Pete Neva Leversee of Comstock; her niece, Sharon Kent Kooyers of Lawton; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers, Elaine Hobbs, Raymond Leversee, Leslie Leversee, Harold Leversee, Lois Wertz and Barbara Paff. Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway, Kalamazoo, MI 49048. Following visitation a committal service will be take place in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park officiated by Chuck Watson. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
