KINSEY, Gearald W.
Scotts Died February 15, 2014 at age 79. Gearald was born July 22, 1934 in Battle Creek, MI to the late Wyllis and June Wilcox Kinsey. He was united in marriage to Mildred Jones on April 20, 1955 for a loving 58 years together. Gearald entered into the U.S. Navy in 1955 where he served on active duty until honorably discharged in 1957. Gearald went home surrounded by his devoted family. He was retired from General Motors where he worked as a die maker. He enjoyed his mechanical toys and working with his hands. He liked coming up with creative solutions to problems and could jury rig anything. Gearald's passion was his family. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Kinsey of Scotts; children, Mark Jennifer Kinsey of Kalamazoo, Michael Esta Kinsey of Battle Creek and Debra Reynolds of Kalamazoo; grandchildren, Shaun Mindy Kinsey, Shannon Jimmy Caswell, Rod Zoe Reynolds, Eric Reynolds, Brandon Reynolds and Alainna Maxson; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Marian Carl Warren, Marjorie Dameron and Marylin Henline; brother, John Barnes; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a brother, George Kinsey. A committal service at Ft. Custer National Cemetery will be scheduled in the springtime of this year.
