Gary E. Gills

GILLS, Gary E.
of El Paso, Texas Passed away November 18, 2011 in Alamo Twp. He was born February 16, 1967 in Akron, OH to John and Janet Samons Gills. After graduating from Comstock High School, Gary served in the U.S. Army until honorably discharged in 1991. During his tour of duty, he served in Saudi Arabia. Surviving Gary are his children, Amber and Sheena Gills; parents, John Diane Gills and Janet George Schmidt; brothers, Michael Alicia Ambron and T.J. Gills; step-sisters, Michelle Oman, Jessica Ryan Parnaby and Michelle Noel Quinoes; step-brothers, Eric and Jeffrey Schmidt; and Pam Sleek, the mother of his children. Preceding him in death was his sister, Tammy Howard in 2007. Family will greet friends on Saturday, December 10th from 9-11 a.m. at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., where the service will be held at 11:00 o'clock. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
