Age 95 made the journey into the embrace of her creator on September 7, 2020 and is now reunited with cherished friends, family, and her husband Bob of 62 years. Although she found numerous opportunities to use her amazing clerical skills it was to her family that Fran dedicated her life. It seemed that no holiday or event could appropriately pass without the gifts from Fran's kitchen the most notable being her legendary pies. Her love, hospitality and treats from the oven were a magnet drawing family into her presence. Although her favorite place was her home, she and Bob did travel quite a bit both abroad and around the states in their motorhome. She was both an integral part of the family business and a volunteer in the office of her church making close friends there.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Ann Thompson; brothers, Al and Ray Thompson; and Robert Lampen, whose hand she held in marriage.

She leaves behind her faithful sister, Geraldine Thompson; sister-in-law, Barb Thompson; children, Mary and Chris Lampen-Crowell, Gail and Ron Fuller and Mike and Rae Lampen; nine grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and a family celebration of Fran's life will take place at a future date.
