Frances Kay (Pierce) Jarvis

Frances Kay Jarvis passed away peacefully at Rose Arbor Sunday afternoon, August 29, 2021. She was born Frances Kay Pierce on January 5, 1949 to Russell W. and Arlene J. (Ellard) Pierce who preceded her in death. Frances married Floyd Jarvis in 1985, and they enjoyed over thirty years together before his death in 2017. Frances lived all her life in the Kalamazoo area. A devout Christian and member of West Kalamazoo Christian Church, Frances was very involved in her church and enjoyed quilting, knitting, playing cards, and spending time with friends. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Timothy) Fitzgerald of Portage; brother, Terry (Michelle) Pierce of Ohio, and sister, Tina (Richard) Peck of Galesburg. She also leaves fifteen grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. Among those who will grieve her loss is her life-long and dearest friend Martha Kouder, and a very special companion Patsy Kline, her long haired Chihuahua. There will be no services at this time.
