LENNON, Faye V. "Ginny"
of Kalamazoo Passed away June 13, 2011, at the home of her son. Ginny was born July 17, 1920, in Kalamazoo, MI, daughter of Leroy and Mary Fitzgerald Kendall. She was a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and attended the Gull Lake United Methodist Church. She was known for her quick wit and sense of humor. She was an avid card player who loved playing cards with her grandchildren. Ginny was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 1983; by her parents; a granddaughter, Emily Lennon; a great-grandson, Jordan Lennon; and 2 sisters, Edna Rood and Glenna Roomsburg. Surviving are a daughter, Faye Koestner of Richland and her children Kyle Danielle Koestner Kyla and Charlie of Grand Haven; Kelcee Scot MacDonell Cade and Maysan of Chicago, Kurtis Jennifer Koestner Kaleb of Allegan; Kal Koestner fiancé Susan of Chicago; son, William Marilyn Lennon, of Grand Rapids and their children Robert Sherri Lennon Kendall and Kylie of Tampa, FL; Joseph Lennon J.J. of Grand Rapids; Michael Jennifer Lennon Skylar and Chandler of Rockford; also an extra son Joe Dorris Milan of Richland; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday at the Gull Lake United Methodist Church with the Rev. Sue Petro officiating. Interment in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Friends may meet the family on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, 622 S. Burdick St. Memorial contributions in Ginny's memory may be made to N.O.D.C.C. National Organization for Disorders of the Corpus Callosum in honor of her granddaughter, Maysan MacDonell; Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan; or the Gull Lake United Methodist Church.
