Kalamazoo, MI Passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013. Age 95. Esther was born in Salem, MI on December 17, 1917, the daughter of the late John and Helen Alfen Weber. She retired from the Brown Company after 28 years of service. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She belonged to the Portage Senior Center and enjoyed sewing and traveling. She was married to Marvin F. Stewart; he preceded her in death in 1983. She is survived by her sons, Floyd Stewart of Kalamazoo and Marvin Sharon Stewart of Richland; two grandchildren, Jeff Annie Reicherts of Martin and Jason Kelly Reicherts of Scotts; four great-grandchildren, Kerri, Hannah, Jacob and Maxwell; two great-great-grandchildren, Lucas and Lilly; siblings, Elvin Rose Weber, John Weber, Ed Weber, Marian Kania and Loretta Comberworth. She was preceded in death by siblings, Chris Waldo, Earl Weber, Irvin Weber and Wilbur Weber. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 22, 2013. Rev. Fr. Robert Creagan will officiate with interment in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Memorials may be given to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
